Youtube can be a dangerous place especially to someone who loves beauty and makeup as much as I do… That is how this Anastasia Haul came about. I have seen countless videos raving about these three products, then I watched them in store myself and I was a goner.

The first of these that I bought was the Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick in Ashton. Y’all know how much I love her formula of liquid lipsticks and when I saw this color used in several makeup tutorials on Youtube I was in love. I’m even more in love now that I have it. It is the perfect shade that is light enough I can get away with wearing it in the summer but also dark enough that it is absolutely perfect for the fall. With my warm complexion it looks great and I have been wearing it at least twice a week since I got it.

Next up is the Glow Kit in Sundipped. I knew I wanted to try one of the Glow Kits from all the hype that has been going around about them on Youtube. My dilemma was which one… I took to Youtube like any good beauty blogger does and watched more videos which had me convinced I needed all of them… However, that was the obsessed beauty fanatic in me so I narrowed it down to the Sundipped Glow Kit. Especially once I watched it in store I knew I had to have it. I can wear all the shades except for Bronzed as highlighter and Bronzed I either wear as an eyeshadow or I have even been wearing it over my bronzer to give my whole face a wonderful glow. I haven’t compared it close enough to my other highlighters… but these highlights may be my favorite highlights in my collection.

Lastly, the product I was the most unsure about getting and the one I have come to use and love the most, the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette. This palette I have had a love hate relationship with on Youtube. At first, it didn’t really appeal to me and I didn’t think I needed it with all the other palettes in my collection. Then I just started avoiding the makeup tutorials using this palette because I was getting tired of the hype. However, I never pass up a haul video on Youtube and this palette was in almost all of the hauls. Everyone couldn’t get over the colors and the quality of the eyeshadows. This of course led me down the Youtube black hole of watching the countless tutorials I had avoided which eventually convinced me I need to have a look at this palette in store. As soon as I swatched one of the shadows I knew I had to have it! These shadows are [dare I say it] better than my Mac eyeshadows… The are softest, creamiest, easiest to blend shadows I have ever tried. And the colors… Youtube videos do not do them justice. For my skin tone specifically, these are shades I could only dream about before! If you can’t tell… this palette is quickly becoming my favorite palette in my collection. I haven’t been able to put it down since I got it!

Well here are the products that Youtube has made me buy… I have loved every single one of them and I can promise you will be seeing them in a favorites soon! I also have my eye on the new Anastasia Beverly Hills Stick Foundation so if you have tried it please let me know what you think of it!

  1. I totally relate to this post – almost all of the products I’ve bought are because of Youtube (my wallet is crying). I’m going to need to go on an ABH haul soon too…

  2. YouTube makes me buy a lot of things too šŸ˜…
It’s such a mixed feeling kind of thing. Sometimes you end up loving the product and sometimes you’re like oh man why doesn’t this look that beautiful on me?
    The struggle is real! Haha!
