Updated Skincare Routine

DSC_0411-5

I’ve really been focused on minimizing my skincare routine recently because my skin has been doing really good and I only have the occasional breakout. I’ve been really happy with my skin and am really glad it has gotten so much better.

In the morning, I start by cleansing my face with the Boots Botanics Hot Cloth Cleansing Balm. This cleanser is so soothing and I love the cloth they give you to use with it. Next, I use the Origins GinZing Eye Cream and the Pixi Glow Tonic. I finish up with the Boots Botanics Radiance Concentrate Serum and the Neutrogena Hydro Boot Moisturizer.

My evening routine is the the same except I add in the Dermalogica Clear Start Overnight Treatment to treat any spots I may have. To remove my makeup at the end of the day, I use the Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water. If I have any particular big spots that aren’t going away I will use the Skin+Pharmacy Advanced Acne Therapy.

If loved it if any of y’all have an suggestions for a new toner to use since I have recently finished the Pixi Glow Tonic in a little under a month and I don’t want to pay that price for a product that won’t even get me through the month. I do love it and am looking for something similar but it a better price hopefully! So if you have any suggestions please let me know!

    1. I really loved it while I was using it! It made my skin feel super soft and really brightened my skin. If you haven’t tried it before I would definitely try it at least once. It was really shocking at how quickly I went through it though. I think if I were to repurchase I would only use it once a day either in the morning or at night and see if I still got the same results and it lasted longer.

  1. Great post! Are you really liking the Botanics Cleansing Balm? I recently bought it and have used it a few times, but I don’t know if I’m using it right since it seems to leave a pretty heavy film on my face. Do you rinse it off, or do you just use the cloth to wipe it off?

    1. I really like the cleansing balm. I just massage it into my face and then run the cloth under some hot water and lay that on my face and then I do that again. After that I just start wiping it away with the cloth. I haven’t noticed a film but I do apply a toner with a cotton pad as my next step so that may be removing any possible film left behind.
