Makeup Storage

Recently, I have been a tad bit obsessed with cleaning out and organizing everything I own. I blame it on college. Ever since I’ve been at college I have developed a slight OCD concerning cleaning and organizing. So a couple weeks ago I sat down in front of my bags of makeup and I decided I needed a major clean out. I wanted everything organized and to have it’s own storage location. It took some serious thought and consideration. I went through everything by category (foundation, powder, bronzer, etc.). Finally, I got it down to what I use and love and this is what my storage set up ended up looking like!

This container holds my lip products, most used foundations at the moment, and the various samples I need to test out. I also keep my Benefit Stay Flawless Primer here.

On top of the decorative stand I have my makeup under I keep my perfume, makeup brushes, and the nail polish my nails are currently painted. I separate my makeup brushes by face and eye brushes.

On top of the clear storage shelves I got from TJMaxx, I keep the rest of my foundations, a setting powder, and a makeup setting spray.

The first drawer contains lip balm, concealers, primers, brow products, and a mascara primer.

In the second drawer I keep my mascaras, eyeliners, and long-lasting eyeshadows.

In the third drawer I keep my blushes, bronzers, and highlighters.

In the two small drawers I keep two small eyeshadow palettes, a Rimmel London Powder and Bronzer, and a single eyeshadow.

In the last two drawers and beside my drawers I keep various palettes.

I hope my slight OCD organization can help anyone who might need help with organizing their own makeup collection!
